My passion for photography started at the age of 10 when I first got my hands on my mother's camera in the Icelandic highlands where she worked as park manager during the summer months. Inspired by the nature all around me I kept shooting the landscapes in east Iceland where I grew up. After meeting my South African husband in my early twenties backpacking through South East Asia we moved to South Africa where I took up my studies in Photography. Now back in the cold, after a two-year stop in Denmark where I then studied Multimedia Design. Freelancing since 2010 mostly in the broadcasting sector as a photographer and designer.
Love being in action on sets, capturing hidden moments, as well as getting to know people coming to my studio and bringing out their best. I believe the magic is to make people feel at ease in front of the lens, so only after getting to know each other a bit, maybe sharing some laughs, I bring up the camera.
